A visible, solid steel barrier is the simplest way to stop a car being driven away. We survey, supply and install driveway bollards, parking posts and ground anchors, with one fixed price agreed before we dig.
From simple key-operated posts to fully automatic bollards that rise at the press of a button. Whichever you choose, our own team supplies, fits and makes good.

The same flush-fitting telescopic post with a gas strut that does the heavy lifting. One hand to raise, no bending or straining.
Raises and lowers from a remote fob, so you never leave the car. It runs on rechargeable batteries, so there's no cabling to dig in and no electrician needed, and an LED ring in the top keeps it visible at night.
Unlock and lift the post out completely, leaving a flush capped plate.

Guide prices are per bollard, post or anchor for a standard installation in London. Ground conditions, surface type and the number of posts all affect the total, which is fixed in your written quote after the free site survey.
Automatic bollards run on rechargeable batteries that typically need charging around every six months. You can charge them yourself, or let us look after it.
One visit a year. We clean and lubricate the mechanism, check the seals and the LED ring, test every fob and check battery health.
Two visits a year, timed to your battery cycle. We swap in freshly charged batteries each time, so you never have to think about it, plus everything in the annual service.
Insurers price your cover on where the car sleeps. Bollards make the driveway a place a thief can't simply drive away from.
Cars kept on a private driveway overnight average £457 a year for comprehensive cover, against £594 for cars parked on the street near home.
MoneySuperMarket, 2026 ↗That's what insurers paid out on average for theft of or from a vehicle between April and June 2025. Avoid one claim and you keep your excess, your no-claims discount and your car.
Association of British Insurers, Q2 2025 ↗There's no single bollard discount across the market, but many insurers, especially for high-value cars, ask about physical security. We'll give you the product details and an installation note to send them.
Worth a call at renewalKeyless car theft takes seconds and needs no damage to the car. Bollards turn a quiet, quick job into a loud, slow one, and that's usually enough for the car to be left alone.

Stop a car being driven off the drive, and keep strangers from parking across it.
Fold-down posts keep your space yours in shared car parks and private developments.
Fixed bollards protect glazing and entrances from ram raids and careless reversing.
Multiple bays or blocks quoted and fitted as one job, with a single invoice per site.
The post is the visible part. What stops a car is the foundation, and that's where cheap installs cut corners.
Before anything is cut we scan for cables and pipes, and check the depth we have to work with. Telescopic cassettes need a deep hole; if your drive can't take one, we'll say so and suggest a type that fits.
Posts and cassettes are set level in a proper concrete base and left to cure. We then reinstate the surface around them, whether that's block paving, tarmac, resin or gravel, so it looks like it was always there.
Answer a few quick questions online, or WhatsApp us a photo of the driveway or bay.
We visit, check the surface and what's underneath, and talk through how you use the space. Then we recommend what to fit, and how many.
One price covering the bollards, groundwork and making good. No surprises on the day.
Fitted, tested and shown to you, with keys or fobs handed over and the area swept.
We fit bollards across all 32 London boroughs and the City of London. Outside London? Get in touch: we can often travel further, particularly for larger or multi-bay jobs.
Yes. Every quote follows a free, no-obligation site survey anywhere in London. We check the surface, scan for cables and pipes, measure up and talk through how you use the space, so the written price you get afterwards is fixed. Outside London, just ask when you get in touch. Send a photo on WhatsApp first if you'd like a rough idea before we visit.
Most installations are finished in a day, including our automatic bollards: they're battery powered, so there's no cabling to run. Larger multi-post jobs take longer, and your quote includes a timescale.
We have to cut into the surface to set the foundation, but we reinstate around the post afterwards. Block paving is lifted and relaid; tarmac and resin are cut neatly and patched. We'll show you what the finish will look like before we start.
Bollards on your own private driveway generally don't need planning permission. Anything on or affecting the public footway, a listed building, or a conservation area may be different, and leasehold or managed properties may need the freeholder's consent. We'll flag this at survey.
If you drive out once or twice a day and want no running costs, a manual telescopic bollard is usually the answer. If you're in and out often, or would rather not leave the car, go automatic. For allocated bays, fold-down posts. We'll recommend the right type, and how many, at the survey.
A little. The batteries typically need charging around every six months, and the mechanism benefits from a yearly clean and check. You can charge the batteries yourself, or choose our annual service (from £195 a year) or twice-yearly care plan (from £295 a year), where we swap in charged batteries for you.
Car insurance is priced partly on where the car is kept overnight, and driveway parking averages £137 a year less than parking on the street near home (MoneySuperMarket, 2026). There's no standard discount for bollards themselves, but many insurers, particularly for high-value cars, take physical security into account, so tell yours at renewal. We'll give you the product details and an installation note to send them. Home insurance is usually rated on locks and alarms rather than bollards, so don't expect a change there.
Yes. We quote and fit for multiple bays and frontages, and can work with managing agents and freeholders. Multi-post jobs are priced as one site.
Supplied and fitted, prices per bollard start from £595 for manual telescopic, £895 for lift-assisted, £2,295 for automatic and £425 for removable bollards. Parking posts start from £275 each and ground anchors from £295. Your total depends on how many you need, the surface and what's underground, and you'll get it as a fixed written quote after the free site survey, before any work starts.
